How It Works

At Mathagoras, we provide personalized, one-on-one math tutoring designed to fit each student’s pace, level, and learning style.

This guide explains how to get started and how the platform works step by step.

1. Get Started with a Free Trial

New students can begin with a free trial lesson.

This session helps:

  • Understand the student’s current level
  • Identify learning needs
  • Experience the teaching approach
  • Build a personalized learning plan

2. Choose Your Learning Path

After the trial, you can continue with:

Regular Lessons

Ideal for:

  • Learning new concepts
  • Strengthening fundamentals
  • Long-term academic progress

Exam Preparation

Designed for:

  • Test-focused practice
  • Short-term goals
  • Intensive revision and problem-solving

3. Book a Lesson

To book a lesson:

  1. Go to the Booking Page
  2. Select a lesson type:
    • Trial Lesson
    • Standard Lesson
    • Exam Preparation
  3. Choose your preferred date and time

4. Packages & Recurring Lessons

After selecting a time slot, you will have options:

Lesson Packages

  • Discounted bundles of multiple lessons
  • Flexible scheduling within the package

Recurring Lessons

  • Book lessons weekly or multiple times per week
  • Secure your preferred time slot in advance
  • Ideal for consistent learning schedules

5. Enter Your Information

You will be asked to provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Country / City
  • Student details

Important:

  • Use an active email address
  • If a parent is booking, use the parent’s email
  • All payment requests and notifications will be sent to this email

6. Payment Process

  • A Payoneer payment request (invoice) will be sent to your email
  • Complete the payment securely through Payoneer
  • Your booking will be confirmed after payment

(Additional payment methods like PayPal and card payments are being introduced)

7. Booking Confirmation & Access

After booking:

  • Your lesson appears in your Student Dashboard
  • First-time users will set their account password
  • Returning users can log in anytime

8. Lesson Status & Scheduling

  • Bookings start as Pending
  • After confirmation, they are Approved

Students can:

  • View schedules
  • Track bookings
  • Manage lessons from their dashboard

9. Joining Your Lesson

  • Each lesson includes a Zoom meeting link
  • Available in your Student Dashboard
  • Click the link at your scheduled time to join

 Tutor hosts the session, student joins directly

10. Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Lessons can be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours before
  • Changes are not allowed within 24 hours of the lesson

11. Package Usage

  • Packages allow multiple lesson bookings
  • Sessions must be scheduled within the validity period
  • Students can manage bookings from their dashboard

12. Recurring Lessons (Advanced Booking)

  • Book repeating lessons (e.g., weekly schedule)
  • Choose frequency and duration
  • If a slot is unavailable, alternative times may be suggested

13. Support & Communication

Students and parents can:

  • Contact support for help
  • Coordinate schedules if needed
  • Receive updates via email
